Counseling Options

Both adults and children

Insurance will only pay for couples counseling if there is an identified client with a treatable diagnosis. The identified client then becomes the focus of the counseling as, per insurance, we are treating the diagnosis.

Traditional couples counseling identifies the relationship as the client. Couples counseling works best when the relationship is the client.

Insurance will pay for family counseling when it is for the benefit of an identified client who is being treated for a particular diagnosis.
